Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Tada, an iOS app by Atypical Apps. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.

What Tada does

Tada takes photos you choose and text you write and produces a vertical video on your device, using predefined templates. It is a tool for making something; it is not a social network, it hosts nothing, and it publishes nothing on your behalf.

What you make is yours

You keep every right you already had in the photos and text you bring, and in the videos you make with them. We claim no ownership and no licence over your content. We could not use it if we wanted to: it never leaves your device.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you put into a video — your own photos, or photos you have permission to use — and for what you do with the result once it leaves the app.

What the app itself is

The app, its templates, its written caption suggestions, its artwork and the Tada name and logo belong to Atypical Apps. You may use them through the app as intended. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its content, or use the name or logo to suggest we endorse something we do not.

Using it reasonably

Do not use Tada to make content that harasses a person, that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, or that you do not have the right to make. Because nothing you create passes through us, we have no way to review it in advance and no way to remove it after — which is exactly why this is on you.

Free use, and what costs money

Tada is free to use, and every template can be exported for free in full resolution with a small watermark. Two things are paid:

• A single clean export — a one-off purchase that removes the watermark from one video.
• Tada Pro — a subscription that unlocks premium templates, removes the watermark from every export, and includes new formats as they are added.

Subscription terms

Tada Pro is offered weekly, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

You manage and cancel your subscription in Settings on your iPhone, under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy, and may differ by country.

Purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms; we cannot issue them, though we are happy to help you work out what happened — write to the address below.

Templates change

The catalogue of templates is updated remotely, so trends can be added while they are still current and withdrawn when they are not. A template may be removed from browsing at any time. Videos you have already made are unaffected, and a draft made with a withdrawn template can still be finished.

No warranty

Tada is provided as it is. We work to make it reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be free of errors, that a render will always succeed, or that it will suit a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Atypical Apps is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
